Dallisgrass (Paspalum dilitatum) Seed
Dallisgrass is a fast-growing, tufted perennial grass, native to South America, that is used for pastures and hay. Dallisgrass grows best in fertile, moist soil, and can be planted in spring or fall. It grows 2-4 feet tall and produces similar yields to Argentine or common bahiagrass. Growing a legume with dallisgrass, such as white clover, can improve production and quality of forage.
