How to Plant |
Chufas are best planted by preparing a firm
seedbed by disking. Then broadcast the seed at a rate of 40 lbs. per
acre. The seed should be covered approximately 1 inch deep, and this can be
accomplished with a cultipacker or by carefully using a disk to cover
them. |
When to Plant |
Plant BioLogic Chufa in the spring when all danger
of frost has passed. Chufas need 90-110 days of frost free growth to
fully mature. |
